The precipitous sandstone rangers known as the Grampians National Park took shape millions of years ago when sandy sediments were titled, uplifted and then worn away to form what we see today. The pristine and rugged wilderness is home to 1000 varieties of plant life including 20 unique species of orchid and 200 species of bird life. Panoramic lookouts like Boroka Lookout and Jaws of Death also known as the Balconies will be accessible via a gentle walk. Bring your walking shoes to reach the dazzling cascade at Mackenzie Falls which spill its way through the park. Be spellbound by the gentle yet wild kangaroos who gather peacefully at Zumsteins park each day around dusk and watch the crazy emus running thought the distant bush.
