Terms and Conditions

General Information

Free hotel pick ups are available on request. Please contact our office 24 hours before your tour departs.
All coaches are rated 5 Star and equipped with TV, video, toilet/washroom, water, air-conditioning.
All fares include the Australian Government Goods and Services Tax (10%).

Child Fares
Passengers between the ages of 3 and 14 years inclusive travel at the applicable child fare. Passengers over the age of 14 years travel at the adult fare. Passengers under the age of 3 years travel free of charge (FOC) provided they do not occupy a seat. If a seat is required for a passenger under 3 years of age the child fare will apply.

Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Cancellation Policy

  • Day tours:
    Failure to board on the day of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee - no refund of fare or unused portion
  • Short breaks (tours including accommodation:
    Cancellations received 42 days or more prior to tour departure - no cancellation fee.
    Cancellations received 16-41 days prior to departure incur a cancellation fee to the value of 20% of the total booking.
    Cancellations received 1-15 days prior to departure incur a cancellation fee to the value of 50% of the total booking.
    Failure to board on the day of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee - no refund of fare or unused portion

Group Bookings (seat in coach)
Special charter quotes and group rates are available on request.

Operating Days
APT reserves the right to cancel or alter tour itineraries as deemed necessary. Tour operation, or alterations may occur due to road or weather conditions, strikes, public holidays and accommodation availability etc. The company gives no guarantee as to the exact arrival or departure times as circumstances beyond our control may influence this.

Public Liability Insurance
Australian Pacific Tourings holds public liability insurance for all business undertaken to the limit of $10,000,000. A copy of the policy can be supplied on request.

Amendment Fees
Short breaks (tours including accommodation) - A charge of $45AUD will apply to any addition or modification requested after the original booking had been confirmed.

Travel insurance
We strongly recommend passengers to take out travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which may arise (including cancellation fees, medical and curtailment expenses, loss of luggage, early departure from tour due to death or illness etc.)

Luggage limit
Each passenger is entitled to take one case, the sum of its length, width and depth not to exceed 160cm (63 inches), weight limit 20 kilos (44lbs). Airlines permit only 1 cabin bag per person, in which personal items such as cameras, make up etc. should be carried. Over limit luggage cannot be carried. Baggage is at "owners risk".
